Anita & Johnny Kramer
Rachel and Harry Trost

Zurich - Switzerland

22 February  2002

I met this wonderful foursome at the Mount Nelson Hotel via my brother Robert who could only tour with them for 1 day. Due to commitments he could not travel with them on their 2nd and 3rd day and I was lucky enough to take over this fabulous tour. To view highlights from the experience that I had with the Kramers and the Trost's simply view the below pictures and you will see for yourelf how we all enjoyed Cape Town to the hilt.

We had lunch at Bordjiesrif on the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve. I took this photo after lunch

Anita was the only daring member of the group to try to test the Atlantic waters temperature.

This photo just had to be taken at the Cape of Good Hope

We decided to ascend Table mountain at sunset and took the above photo which I have tried to lighten up as best possible. The bottom photo shows what the colours of the sunset truly were. All in all our ascent up the mountain was a fabulous experience.

After Table Mountain we made our way down to the Africa Cafe where we had an African feast for dinner and I took this unfortunately blurred photo. It was at the Africa Cafe where I inducted this awesome foursome into my exclusive "Cork Club"

WHAT A WONDERFULLY FABULOUS DAY THIS TRULY WAS.

23 February 2002 - Saturday

On this day Johnny and Harry went to play golf at the Royal Cape Golf Club. While they did this I took Rachel and Anita on a city/shopping tour

We first stopped in at Kirstenbosch Gardens where I took this picture of Rachel and Anita in the Kirstenbosch shop.

We travelled back to Cape Town and went to the Pan African market where this picture was taken.

After the Pan African market we moved on to the Greenmarket Square where I took this photo of Rachel and Anita standing behind of one local dancing choirs o the Square.

Anita bought a painting from Bikos who we see standing with Anita and Rachel in this photo

This photo is taken of Rachel and Anita standing on the centre circle of Cape Town. I have no idea who the "bodyguard" is on their right hand side. JJ

After our journey through the various markets we travelled through Adderley Street and then went to the Cape Grace Hotel for coffee. We then moved into the Sea Point area where we visited Bette and my apartment. Thereafter we went to the super luxury area of Arcadia Street in the upper Sea Point area. Per chance on our way back to the hotel we met up with Robert at his house.

To say that this was an incredible tour and group to travel with would be the understatement of the year. What fabulous people Harry, Rachel, Johnny and Anita truly are. Oh it was such a pleasure travelling through Cape Town with them and I so wish that we could have had much more time together, but alas holidays dont last forever.

THANK YOU SO MUCH RACHEL, HARRY, ANITA AND JOHNNY
OUR TIME TOGETHER WILL BE LONG REMEMBERED

Dear Selwyn,

We arrived safe and sound this morning and already back at work this
afternoon. Thank-you very much for the beautifully phrased e-mail which
almost made me cry as it was sentimental and exactly how we felt about you
and Rob. We would have missed most of the nicest places if it were not for
both of you, each with his own style. We really had an great time, easy
going, the same language and mentality. <it was a great honor to have met
you and I am sure it will not be the last. We have open doors at our home
for you. We will try to be in touch and thank-you for the pictures.

Very Sincerely,

Harry Trost
