I met Sadruddin and Rashid at the V&A Hotel. We decided on doing a Cape Peninsula tour and as these tow cricket fans were here for the World Cup the conversation in the car revolved around cricket in a big way.

We travelled to Muizenberg and went down to the seaside where this picture was taken

We travelled on to the Cape of Good Hope Reserve

Sadruddin and Rashid at Bordjiesrif where we had a quick snack for lunch

The duo at Cape Point

We stopped in at "the statues" where Sadruddiin and Rashid bought some lava stone statues from Pielo

We travelled back to Cape Town via Hout Bay and the Atlantic seaboard and then ascended Table Mountain where the below pictures were taken.

Sunset on Table Mountain

We managed to find a happy Dutch visitor to Cape Town who snapped the 3 of us on Table Mountain.

This was a great day as Sadruddin and Rashid had so much in common with me especially when it came to cricket. Much was spoken about in the vehicle covering many subjects and simultaneously we had a great scenic overview of the Cape Peninsula.

Wonderful day.

Hi Selwyn,

Firstly I want to thank you for the excellent tour of cape point and the surrounding areas. Both, the scenery and company, was great. We are both actually in love with Cape Town now and I hope to go back there sometime again in the near future. We got back to States on last Tuesday, right before the war. So I guess the timing was perfect.  Since I didn't get to home till Friday night, that's why I am a little delayed in the reply. But I hope you will visit Caribbean for the 2007 World Cup and we can meet up there. It should be a great cricket party. Also I enjoyed the drink on top of the Table Mountain.  The only bad part of it is I won't be able to find it in states. I have one small favor to ask you. Can you zip up our pictures and send it through email. Both of us would like to put it in our webpages.

I hope you keep in touch and shoot email from time to time. I will also do the same from my side. In the meantime, stay safe and enjoy the beautiful Cape Town. Thanks again for the good time Selwyn.

Saad
