I met Adrian at the Holiday Inn at the Waterfront and we immediately set out on our planned Winelands journey.
While driving out to the Winelands Adrian could not resist having this picture taken with the Brighton Rd sign.

We stopped in at the Ocean Basket for lunch and had this picture taken by our waitress.

After our visit to Rust en Vrede we took a slow drive to the Somerset Strand beachfront and then travelled on to the Cape Town airport where I bade Adrian farewell.
Adrian was a very easy visitor to travel with. Together we had a fun filled and relaxing day. We saw many of the Cape Winelands sights and with the weather turning in our favour towards midday the whole tour turned out to be a wonderful success.
Thanks in a big way Adrian

Dear Selwyn
Yes, I am back now, the flight was fine, it just seems such a long time ago
that you dropped me at the airport.
Thank you for a fantastic day - it was both fascinating and entertaining.
The pictures are great - the football club liked the one in the creche.
Please also pass on my thanks to Mzwaki for showing me around.
I will let you know Gill's thoughts on the wines when we get round to trying them.
Once again many thanks for a great time in Cape Town, your knowledge and enthusiasm really enhanced my trip.
Regards
Adrian
