Fletcher only had one day in Cape Town and we had carefully planned the day in emails prior to his arrival in Cape Town in such a way that we would try and cover as much as possible of the Cape Peninsula. No matter how much planning we did we could not take into account the fact that Fletcher's plane to Cape Town was delayed by two hours and this meant that we really had to travel as quickly as possible so as to see the main spots of Cape Town in a limited time.
Our first stop to take photos was
at the top of Fish Hoek where we took this panoramic photo.

We traveled to Simonstown and stopped at the Seaforth restaurant for lunch where the following 2 photos were taken.
We took this fun picture at Cape Point. If you look very carefully in the back of this photo you will also see a baboon thus making the sign a real one. J
While on Cape Pont we saw Bontebok as can be seen from the above photo.
When we arrived at Misty Cliffs the waves were very rough and Fletcher could not resist taking a video of the breakers.
After circumventing the Peninsula we arrived in Cape Town just before sunset and immediately went up Signal Hill where I took this photo of Fletcher posing in front of our famous mountain.
After a short tour through the city I took Fletcher to his hotel. I returned later on so as to take him to Au Jardin restaurant where we unfortunately had to bade each other farewell.
It was a real pity that Fletcher only had one day in Cape Town as we had a great tour that would have been so much better had we only had more time to spend together. I think Fletcher truly enjoyed his day in Cape Town and I can but only hope that he returns with his family to my wonderful city one day.
Huge thanks from me Fletcher
