What an amazing experience it was to travel through Cape Town and its surrounds as well as the winelands and Kayamandi with Katie and Ed. They were wonderful to tour with and I knew from the minute that I met them that we were going to be on a journey second to none for 3 days. We shared much together and had a most wonderful tour while doing so. Our experience with the people of Kayamandi was a fantastic one and I do believe that Katie and Ed left a bit of their own hearts with the people of Kayamandi. This whole 3 day tour was a wonderful privilege for me to do!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR 3 GREAT DAYS

Dear Selwyn;
Well, finally things are getting bit calmer here. We are still involved in
helping as many victims of Ike as possible. Tomorrow we will be in
Galveston all day doing clothing distribution.
Now, to adequately thank you for being our friend and guide while we were in
the Cape Town area. Our travels with you were such fun and so educational.
We can't tell you how much we learned from our visit to Kayamandi. Please
give Lily our best regards and thank her again for her hospitality and
wonderful cooking. And the children are just incredible. Your work with
them is a true inspiration and testament to what a difference one person can
make in the lives of so many.
All in all this was a truly memorable journey which we will always treasure.
Thank you so very much for everything.
We hope all is well with you. All best wishes as you continue your
outstanding service as travel companion and mentor to the Kayamandi
community.
With great affection,
Katie and Ed Chimenti
