I met Ceri and Lorna at the Holiday Inn and we soon became well acquainted. Brian Aldridge joined us on the day and the four of us set out on a cultural history tour of Cape Town and its peoples
Unfortunately my camera was not set correctly for the first part our journey and the pictures I took at Plattekloof, (Flat Hills) which was our first stop) never came out clearly.

We moved on to Kayamandi after our visit to the Afrikaans language Monument and visited Nosandile at her crèche in the legacy centre where I took the above picture of Ceri and the kids at the school.

After our visit to Masakhane we also enjoyed watching a hip hop group at the Ikamva Lethu centre. Thereafter we paid a visit to Nosandile's home and moved on to Zone J where we passed out apples in the fruit for trash project as well as visited a church service and quite a number of other people in Zone J
It was wonderful to tour with Lorna and Ceri as they were such easy going travellers to tour with. We had great fun along the way and certainly learnt a lot from each other as we travelled. Our day was so filled up with activities that we could not stop talking about all we did while on our way6 back to Cape Town. A truly absorbing day and a wonderful tour overall.
THANKS A TON
