I met the John family at the One an Only hotel. After taking Cody to the city centre the two of us returned to the hotel to collect the balance of the family whereafter we set out on a journey to the Stellenbosch region.
Taylor, Barbie, Ashley, Jenny, Cody & Michael outside the Wild Peacock where we had a great lunch & went through the history of South Africa
After lunch we took a short tour of Stellenbosch and then moved onto Kayamandi where we met Lily in her township home.
After our visit to Lily we joined the dancers in the Ikamva Lethu (Our Future) centre where we had a great time as well as enjoyed a great dancing class by Langa.

The John family on Chapmans Peak.
After our visit to Chapmans Peak we travelled via Hout Bay, Camps Bay, and Sea Point back to the One and Only where we unfortunately had to part company.
What a fantastic 2 day tour. The John family just went with the flow and I believe enjoyed themselves as we travelled through the Cape Town and its surrounds including the township of Kayamandi. I certainly enjoyed myself immensely with this group as we had such a lot of fun along the way while we travelled together. In summary this was 2 great days in Cape Town and its surrounds for all but for me it was a wonderful privilege to also become well acquainted with this wonderful family.
THANKS A TON
MICHAEL, BARBIE, TAYLOR, ASHLEY, LENNY AND CODY.
May I also thank you highly for your generous donation to the people of Kayamandi
