I met Ruth, Sue and Adam at the Ambassador Hotel and it did not take long for us to click and become great friends. Before setting off on a Cape Peninsula tour we stopped in at Checkers to buy a picnic lunch and drove through Sea Point looking at places that Sue and Ruth recalled when they used to Cape Town as teenagers.

What a wonderful family group Ruth, Sue and Adam were to travel with. They took everything in their stride and enjoyed whatever we did to the full. Our total tour experience was wonderful and I could do this tour with this trio in a heartbeat if I were given the chance to do so again. I labeled the tour as "one of re-discovery and discovery" as Ruth and Sue originally came from South Africa while Adam was going through a whole new experience while in South Africa. Believe it or not for me in personal capacity, especially while we were in Paarl, it was also a passage of huge discovery. As a group we had so much to talk about and had so much in common that for me our two days together was not only a wonderful touring experience but also a great opportunity to become acquainted with a truly fabulous family group.
RUTH, SUE and ADAM,
THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING SUCH A WONDERFUL FAMILY GROUP TO TOUR WITH.
May I also thank you and all
those who supported you for the tzedakah that you gave to the people of
Kayamandi. This was very, very much appreciated.
Adam and I have just returned home yesterday- Wednesday. We have had an awesome holiday in South Africa. I am so sorry that I did not e-mail you before, but things got very hectic in Jo'burg before we left.
Adam and I cannot stop raving about the time we spent together with you last week. It was really the highlight of our trip - not only the physical beauty of the places that you showed us, but the wonderful warmth and friendship that you shared with us. Your passion for Cape is unbelievable! You give it your all - and we really did appreciate the tremendous effort that you put into each and every day. You have tremendous knowledge and together with a great sense of humour, compassion and kindness, YOU WERE GREAT!!!!
Thanks for your kind words in the e-mail - we are equally happy that that you felt the same way about us, as we did about you. What a good shiddach!!!!! It was all in the way you presented yourself on the website - I loved that and I knew that we would get along. Ruth too, loved every minute. Thanks also for the great photo's - I really do appreciate the tremendous time and effort that goes into this gallery. You do a great job - keep it up - we will be back some time in the not-so-distant-future!!!
Be well Selwyn and G-d Bless,

Just wanted to thank you so very much for a truly special few days in your beautiful Cape Town I had been to the area many, many times before (and lived in Cape Town for 2 years in 1979) and the 2 days my sister, nephew and I spent with you were truly magnificent! A real 'tour of rediscovery and discovery ' for all of us. Your arranging to have the shul in Paarl especially opened for us, where our late uncle and father of blessed memory had their Barmitzvahs over 80 years ago, was so very meaningful. You researched our family history, had printed up information that was new to us and we thank you for the privilege of guiding and joining us on this very personal and memorable journey.
