I met Liz, Roger and Jane on the 20th of April when we decided to ascend Table Mountain due to rainy weather predictions that were predicted for the following days. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me so I dont have photos of our wonderful journey up the mountain.

The next morning we set out on our Cape Peninsula tour

We started out our day by travelling along the Eastern Boulevard to Muizenberg and eventually Kalk Bay. In Kalk Bay we walked the Treasure mile and took the below photos on the "mile".

After our Peninsula tour we ended off our evening with a wonderful African Feats at the Africa Cafe.

Roger, Liz and Jane were very easy folk to travel with. They always showed a great interest as to what was going on around them and continuously wanted to know more about South Africa, Cape Town and all around them. It was an absolute pleasure to tour with this trio on our day together and I really missed the fact that we could not spend one more day together.

Thanks a ton Roger, Liz & Jane

It was a superb holiday, thank you so much for all the info that you sent to me before the day - and the lovely day you gave us on Monday - we shall always remember our visit to Table Mountain on Sunday evening!!!

You may hear from again in the future, we all agreed South Africa
has still plenty of new surprises!!

Many thanks again - Liz & Roger

Selwyn, hello!

I have just viewed your photo gallery and thoroughly enjoyed the reminder of a wonderful day spent with you on Monday. It seems incredible as I sit here typing this e mail in wet Cheltenham, that just 3 days ago, 6,000 miles away, we were having such a fantastic time touring your city.

Thank you so much for your energy, knowledge and sheer enthusiasm. The trip to Table mountain on Easter Sunday was memorable not just for that brilliant sunset but also for the champagne served with such showmanship! We could not have seen so much and have been so well informed had we tried to take ourselves. In spite of my dislike of heights I value those 'visuals' from the sides of those mountains!

The food at Kalkies was wonderful; also the African feast and entertainment at Cafe Africa. It is very difficult to convey to friends just how much we got out of the visit - words cannot do your country justice.

I have also read your information on Kayamandi and will be revisiting your site with some of my classes.

Thank you and The Wizard for such a fun day.

Regards,
Jane
