I met LivKarin and Roger at De Waterkant guesthouse and we set out on a SA social history & Township tour
We met Mzwake near Stellenbosch and he joined us as we visited the Afrikaans language monument in Paarl
We stopped in for lunch at Cotage Fromage.
We then travelled on to Kayamandi and had a wonderful experience in the township as the below photos show.
LivKarin and Roger join in the singing and dancing with a gospel group we met up with in Kayamandi.
Having fun with the kids of Kayamandi
Dishing out apples to the kids of the township
We then joined Bana Bagotso in a rousing sendoff to LivKarin and Roger from the township.
Having fun with the young singers of Bana Bagotso
We then moved on to the restaurant Moyo where we had a fantastic evening as the below pictures show.
LivKarin being painted a la African styel
Enjoying the entertainment at Moyo.
Having dinner in our private tent.
All in all Mzwake and I had a wonderful day with LivKarin and Roger. I think the day surpassed their expectations somewhat and this made travelling with this wonderful couple through the winelands and township of Kayamandi so much more of a wonderful experience.
THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY
LIVKARIN AND ROGER
A BIG THANK YOU to Jimmy Wallenholt of Worldwide Adventure Norway for introducing me to this wonderful couple

Dear Selwyn,
I don't know how to say thank you for what you and Mzwake gave us that day
in Kaya! The pictures on your website says it all I guess! I'll send you
our pictures later today - I need to download them into my computer first.
Yesterday we spent the last day of the Easter holiday doing something very
Norwegian - we went hiking in the forest surrounding Oslo - the weather
was beautiful, sunny and warm, the snow was melted away almost all over
and the typical spring flowers was already blooming! I love spring!
Once again THANK YOU - I really hope we'll have the opportunity to return
to Kaya one day and maybe be of some help in the work you do there. I
know in my heart that God wants me in Africa - I feel at home there. I don't know how or when, but where there's a will there's a way!
Lots of love from Karin
