I met the Van Voorhis family at their place of stay viz. Derwent House. We spent some time working out what we were going to do on the day and thereafter set off on a cultural journey through the Cape Winelands.

We stopped in at Cape Point where the van Voorhis family decided to walk the point. Thereafter we made our way to Chapmans Peak so as to view sunset off the mountainside.

A happy Van Voorhis family on Chapmans Peak.
After our visit to Chapmans Peak we, via my apartment in Sea Point, made our way back to Derwent House
The Van Voorhis family
were a most wonderful quartet to tour with. We had lots of fun at all times and
what really was amazing was to see how well behaved Anna and Ethan were
throughout our journey. Both of them were wonderful to have on board and I
believe are going to go far in their lifetimes. Needless to say this all
emanates from good parenting and in this regard Sam and Julie really set a
magnificent example throughout.
Overall we had lots in common and shared so much however what was most important was the fact that all 5 of us had a wonderful time together.
Thanks for a fantastic journey
