Ruth and Todd arrived in Cape Town and we decided to give them a surprise by having the children from the Ikamva Lethu Centre in Kayamandi come through to Cape Town to dance and sing for them while they were having dinner at Ezard House in Camps Bay

On our way to Ezard House we stopped in at Adderley Street (main street of Cape Town) and took the above picture of the dance group with the Xmas lights of the city's main road in the background.

Shopping morning

Todd did not feel well on this day so we decided that Ruth and I would go into town and fulfills Ruth's shopping needs while Todd rested at Ezard House.

Day 3

Wandering around Cape Town

We started our day with a visit to the Boo-Kaap area where I took the above photo of Todd and Ruth standing in front of a very majestically table-clothed Table Mountain in the background.

I knew Ruth from a past tour and met Todd for this first time on this journey. A lot of planning went into this journey by Ruth and I think she attained what she was trying to achieve. The time that I spent with this great couple was of a high quality nature and I truly enjoyed every minute of being in their company. I gained a lot from them both as is I hope they gained from me as their guide. From my point of view this was a wonderful experience in many ways that is going to very difficult to duplicate
