I met Sue and Richard at the Bay Hotel in Camps Bay. As it was a rainy day we decided to not go on a Cape Peninsula Tour but rather do a Stellenbosch-Kayamandi journey

Sue and Richard outside of the Potbelly Pantry near Stellenbosch where I introduced the Careys to all the different types of foods that Soth Africans eat

We travelled to Stellenbosch and did quite an extensive tour by car  of the wonderful country town

Richard looking quite pleased with his choice of lunch at The Aprrentice restaurant

We left Kayamandi at about 18h30 and made our way back to Cape Town

The only problem with this day was the weather which on some occasions was fine and on others not. No matter what Richard , Sue and myself had a great time travelling through the wineland country as well as experiencing township life in Kayamandi. Much fun was had wherever we travelled and overall I do believe that both Richard and Sue learnt a lot of South African life. Great couple to tour with and a very enjoyable tour,.
