I met Caron at All Africa House at the University of Cape Town and we immediately started out on our Cape Winelands journey

We first travelled to the town or Paarl where we visited the Afrikaans language monument

On our way to Stellenbosch we stopped in at Cotage Fromage for some coffee and carrot cake.

On arrival in Stellenbosch we first travelled to Kayamandi where we took the next 3 photos

After our journey to Kayamandi we travelled through the town of Stellenbosch taking a look at the town as well as university areas. We then travelled on to Rust en Vrede winefarm.

After our visit to Rust en Vrede we travelled back to Cape Town.

My time with Caron was definitely to short. It would have been great to have toured with her for another day as she brought a very interesting perspective to the tour with her being an ex South African. We had a wonderful day together and it truly was a pity to have to bade her farewell on the UCT campus.

I cannot thank you enough for showing me the South Africa I never knew and might never have known had it not been for our tour. The photos are a magnificent record of it that I will treasure and I am confident my family will pour over them with much interest and envy! Your immense knowledge, passion and unmistakable attention to detail in every aspect of our tour experience was very much appreciated. I look forward to returning with my family and sharing with them the privilege of having you show us more of the Cape.

Best wishes,
