I met the Fier family at Derwent House and on our first day together I took Phil and his mom Elaine on a half day journey into the winelands

While in Franschhoek we could not avoid stopping when we saw an SPCA truck so that animal loving Elaine could talk to the people manning the vehicle

We moved onto Stellenbosch and after doing a tour of the town we moved onto Kayamandi for a short visit where the following pictures were taken.

We returned to Cape Town at about 15h00

Day 2

What a fantastic day and a half it was to tour with the Fier family. We had the most amazing time together. We learnt so much from one another as we travelled through the Winelands and the Cape Peninsula. All of this made our time together so special and most certainly will remain as a period that is going to be very difficult to forget in my life as a tourguide. For me it was fantastic to experience travelling with 3 generations in the car and seeing how well they got one with one another as a family. Great tour
