I met John and Erin at Kensington Place and within minutes it was as if we had known each other for years. We worked out some logistics for the day and set off to see the Cape Winelands

On leaving Ernie Els John and Erin expressed an interest to see a township so after going on a car drive through Stellenbosch we moved onto Kayamandi

The next pictures were taken of John and Erin enjoying themselves with the kids of the Isibane Sempomolelo creche (Light at the end of the tunnel creche.

We moved onto the Ikamva lethu Centre where we watched the Masakhane dance group do their dancing classes.

After our visit to the Ikamva Lethu Centre we walked through Zone J, landed up in discussions with the "Live love" group and met with various people in the township

We travelled onto Franschhoek, explored the town and then had the above picture taken when we stopped in at a coffee shop for an early dinner

Travelling with John and Erin was like a dream come true. What a fabulous newly wedded couple the Froehlichs were.. Even though they were Steelers supporters I forgave them for being as such. J We had a fantastic day together and because of this I am sure that this tour will be one that I wont forget to easily . What more can I say other than "what a perfect day with such a perfect couple"

Thanks so much not only for the very kind words above, but also the
great day in Cape Town and beyond. I can assure you that we enjoyed
ourselves even more than you did and we have memories from the time we shared that we will talk about forever. We appreciated your incredible knowledge and obvious love of your home country, and we have had a great time telling our family and friends the stories of our tour. And don't worry, I plan to send you a lengthy email once I have had the chance to watch 21.

We thought it was great that you sent the below link to Bill - he was
able to forward it on to my parents, who then sent it to Erin's parents
and everyone was happy to see real-time photos of our honeymoon. Also, you weren't kidding about Grootbos. That place was amazing and the food was absolutely unreal.

We were sorry to have to leave South Africa and we are anxiously
planning our return. Thanks again for everything and keep up the good
work at Kayamandi.
