On this day I bid this wonderful foursome goodbye as I had to return to Cape Town. The foursome accompanied Peter from Schotia Safaris on an Addo Elephant Park game drove as well as a game drive on Schotia Game Farm. The below picture of us all was taken by Peter at Lemon Tree Lane just before we all bid each other farewell.
Day 9
April 9
I spoke to Modi in the morning per phone and he told me that overall they had a great safari experience the previous day. At 11h45 the foursome were then collected at Lemon Tree Lane and started their homebound journey via a Johannesburg airport stopover. I once again spoke to Miri from the Johannesburg airport where it seemed as if after a great SA holiday reality was starting to set in and departing from SA had become a reality for the foursome.
This tour was one of the most enjoyable tours I have ever had. The foursome of Modi, Miri, Johnny and Nancy were so easy to tour with as they simply went with the flow. They all had a wonderful ability to enjoy the finer things in life and in this manner we enjoyed much wonderful scenery, meeting quite a number of interesting South Africans and also enjoying some of the best cuisine that the area had to offer. All in all the whole journey was a fantastic experience for me and I can but only hope that is was the same for the Goldenfeld's and Garzozi's.
THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL
COMPANIONSHIP ON OUR JOURNEY THROUGH CAPE TOWN AND THE GARDEN ROUTE
