I met Istvan, Ilona and Susan at their hotel accommodation in the Waterfront at midday on the 30th and we set out on a winelands tour.

We first visited the Afrikaans language monument where I took this picture of the Halasz family with Paarl in the background

On our way to Spier we stopped at La Barrique where Susan and Ilona had fun photographing the zebras on the farm

Ilona (Above) and Istvan (below) having fun at the cheetah foundation

We travelled to Rust en Vrede where we enjoyed a winetasting, visited the homesteads on the farm as well as had fun in the wood maturation cellar where I took the above picture of the happy threesome.

To end our tour we visited the Africa Cafe where we had a fabulous evening and I took this picture of Ilona, Susan with our waiter Reddu

The Halasz threesome were amongst the most friendly and likeable people I have had on tour with me. They were wonderful to have in the vehicle as company at all times. Istvan was a fascinating person to talk to due to us both having science in common. What more can I say other than "a BIG HUGE THANK YOU from me to Istvan, Ilona and Susan who even though she did not stroke the cheetah did made up for all by stroking the wonderful Stellenbosch "cafe cat"  JJ

What a wonderful journey this whole tour was!

HUGE THANKS TO THE HALASZ FAMILY
