I met Bonnie and Marshall at the Portswood Hotel and we immediately set off on our Winelands journey

Our first stop was at the Afrikaans Language monument on the outskirts of Paarl as can be seen from the above two photos.

We stopped in for lunch at Cotage Fromage where I took the above photo of Marshall and Bonnie

We travelled on to Rust en Vrede winefarm where after a winetasting I took the above photo of the Harmon's in the cellar at the winefarm

After our journey to Rust en Vrede we travelled on to Kayamandi.

We visited Shumi Ndlebe where I took the above photo

Before leaving Kayamandi, Mzwake took us to his apartment where he very proudly showed off his 7 days old son Langa

After our visit to Kayamandi we did a short tour of the town of Stellenbosch before we returned back to Cape Town

The Harmons were lovely people to travel with. They were down to earth type folk who enjoyed all around them as we travelled through the Winelands. We had a great tour together and I enjoyed the whole event just as much as I suspect that Bonnie and Marshall did.

Dear Selwyn:

Thanks for the welcome home greetings. We too had a wonderful
day with you. Frankly, it was one of the real highlights of our trip. If I
can ever get the chance to download some of our pictures I will e-mail you a
few. Your pictures and notes were terrific and much appreciated.

Stay well and thanks again.
