Howard and Susie were visiting Cape Town with their whole family so as to be present at a family wedding. I knew most of the family from past tours and hence it was wonderful to meet everybody once again before Howard, Susie and I set off on a Cape Peninsula tour.

We stopped at an Engen Petrol stop for coffee just outside Somerset West as well as at Peregrine Farm stall in Grabouw where we bought some wonderful freshly pressed apple juice.
We moved on to Swellendam weher we stoppoed in at Belle Alliance for lunch. It was at this reatsuarnt where Avril Joffe called us so as to tell Howard and Susie what the sex was of their first expectant grandchild after a scan had been done on their daughter in law Cindy. I cant mention the sex on this page as Eric wants to stay in the dark on this one. JJ

Fly back to Atlanta
At 12h30 the Hymans were collected by shuttle and taken to the Port Elizabeth airport where they departed for Johannesburg and eventually Atlanta.
This was an awesome, awesome, awesome tour. Howard, Susie and Eric were an absolute delight to travel with. We had so much fun and the tour was a non stop fun event. We experienced much together and spoke about much of what South Africa is about today. The back and forth debate was wonderful to say the least. What a brilliant, brilliant tour this was for me and I can but only hope that the Hymans felt similarly.
THANKS A TON
HOWARD, SUSIE AND ERIC

Selwyn,
We are the fortunate ones to have met spent time and have you show us a country that you truly love. We consider you now par of our family. We shared many experiences over the past two weeks that will always remind us of our trip and that certainly includes you. You were such a part of our family experiences. I do have to tell you that even though you, Susie and I were all very careful not to divulge to Eric the sex of our upcoming grandchild, as soon as we met up with Cindy in
Johannesbrg she let the secret out. She was so excited to show all of us the sonigram that she came running up to us (Susie, Eric and I) and said "Look at his pictures" and then realized she said his. So what can you
do?
As you said Malcolm was terrific. We have already developed the pictures (6 roles) from the non digital camera. Some great shots. Susie's sisters have already commented on your
website and being able to follow our trip as it was happening. I will forward your
email to Eric as he was going to send you a fart machine but it appears you have already taken action. You really got a kick out of that. With all that you provided us it seems a bit bizarre that what we gave you in return was some hysterical moments relative to a machine that makes fart sounds.
By the way, Stan and Avril were crazy about Cape Vaccas.
We will keep in touch with you as we all consider you family. I will send what I can find relevant
pertaining to the Community Center. If I could I would contact your next touring family to tell them how special their upcoming tour with you will be.
Again, thanks doesn't do justice to how special you made our two weeks in SA. If there is ever anything we can do for you please just contact us. Howard
