I met Annabel at "The Inn with a view". We travelled to the foot of Table Mountain where we stopped and discussed the history of South Africa and straight after doing this we started out on our Cape Winelands journey

We first travelled to the town or Paarl where we visited the Afrikaans language monument

We travelled on to Stellenbosch and stopped in at Cotage Fromage for coffee and cake.

On arrival in Stellenbosch we first travelled to Kayamandi where we took the next photos

After our visit to Kayamandi we did a short tour of Stellenbosch and then travelled on to the Rust en Vrede winefarm where I took the below photos.

After our stop at Rust en Vrede we travelled on to the Cheetah foundation and then back to Cape Town.

Annabel was a very interesting person to travel with as she had experienced much in the world when it came to what the people of Kayamandi had to endure in their daily lives. This brought a whole new perspective to my own thoughts as we toured. All in all we had a fabulous day together where we both enjoyed ourselves and also learnt a lot from each other.
