I met this quintet at the Mount Nelson Hotel and transferred them to the Commodore Hotel where they were going to stay for their last days in Cape Town. Once they had checked in at the hotel we set off on a Cape Winelands tour

We stopped in at Seidelberg winefarm where the ladies, as can be seen from Ethelind in the above picture, enjoyed the glassware factory while the men enjoyed a winetasting.

We stopped in for a cheese lunch at Cotage Fromage where the above picture was taken

We moved on to the Olive Shed where Jerry and Barbara in particular had a great time

We moved on to Kayamandi where we spent time with Lily who can be seen in the above photo with the quintet posing in front of the fabulous view that one sees in Kayamandi.

Great tour, great people and probably most important to me 5 wonderfully interesting and upright citizens.

It was wonderful to travel with this quintet. They all knew each other well enough to have fun with each other in a friendly way and I loved watching this happen as we moved through the Cape Winelands. I started the day worrying that there was not enough to do, yet on the day we ran out of time with so much more that we still could have done. In my opinion our tour was a success and I hope and trust that these five fabulous Americans felt so too.

Hi Selwyn,

We returned from South Africa today and after 50 hours of travel
I immediately went to your web site to se our pictures. It helped us relive
the experience. Again I want to let you know how much we enjoyed spending the
day with you. I hope we have the opportunity of recommending you to anyone
looking for a guide in Capetown.

In addition, my wife and her sister lost
Lillie's address and telephone nos. They wish to print some business cards for her.
Please e-mail us her full name,address,2 telephone nos. and e-mail address
and any other pertinent info you think is important. They will have her proof
read the cards before printing.
