I met Bob and Jill the night before were to tour together and I immediately sensed that our journey together would be a great one. When I fetched them the next morning from their apartment at 80 Waterkant Street my original thoughts were happily cemented within minutes of us being together.

Having fun at the Biscuit Factory market where we had a wonderful breakfast and great fun

"Should I or should I not buy it" J seems to be what Jill is thinking of the piece she saw in Heartworks at the Biscuit factory mall

Jill and Bob atop of Plattekloof admiring the view of the whole of the Cape Peninsula

We spent a wonderful 2 hours, which included a great typical Cape cuisine lunch, at the very scenic Solms Delta winefarm

After lunch we travelled onto Franschhoek where we travelled around the town and went up the Franschhoek Pass to see the fantastic overhead view of the town

Bob enjoying the amazing corkscrew collection at the Old Corkscrew antique shop in Franschhoek

After visiting Franschhoek we made our way to Stellenbosch over the Helshoogte Pass. We travelled around the town taking in its wonderful architecture and culture and also stopped at the Coetzenberg rugby field so as to see the fantastic view at the sportsfield.

We moved onto Kayamandi where we paid Lily a visit

Bob and Jill listening to Lily's telling us her  life story in her lounge

We travelled on to Zone J where we met various people like Patricia and Nombulelo. We also handed out oranges in swop mode for bags of trash.

It was wonderful to travel with Bob and Jill. We had lots in common and this most certainly helped to make our journey together a fabulous experience. I gained much from them and I can but only hope that the same could be said for what they gained form me as their tourguide. The mere fact that we parted company close to midnight says it all viz. we had a awesome day together. J

THANKS FOR ALL
