I met Maureen at Davids in Green point and we set off on a Peninsula Tour

We travelled to Table Mountain only to find that that the cablecar was not operating due to high winds so we felt the above picture would have to suffice for our visit to Table Mountain

We moved on to Maidens Cove where I took the above picture of Maureen with the 12 Apostles and Camps Bay behind her

We found out that the cablecar had started to operate and ascended the mountain even though it was windy and cold

Two days with Maureen just did not feel as if it was enough as we shared so much in our time together and yet there was so much more to share afterwards. In our two days together in Cape Town we had great fun exploring the Cape Town and Kayamandi areas.. Much was learnt from each other and all in all it is my belief that we had a great two day tour. Maureen was just so easy to get on with that it may my function as a tourguide so easy overall and also contributed to us having a successful journey together through the greater Cape Town area.

Thank YOU for two fantastic days in Cape Town and its surrounds. I
enjoyed meeting you and touring this beautiful land. I also appreciate our
many honest conversations about the realities of life for the people of
South Africa. Being here has greatly increased my understanding of the
struggles, but also the progress, of your nation. I look forward to sharing
my experiences with those at my school and church upon my return.

I spent the day at the Waterfront as the paragliding was cancelled due to
winds from the SE. I visited the aquarium, red and blue sheds, took a boat
ride to see the seals and a helicopter ride around Cape Town where we
observed 2 whales from above. Tomorrow I'm looking forward to the scuba
diving, although am unsure of the success of the great white diving in a few
days time due to the incoming storms. My fingers are crossed tightly!

Thank you again for everything and please let the ballroom dancing
children know how much I enjoyed their performance!
