I met George and Terri at Camps Bay Terrace and we set off on a Winelands/Township tour

We started our day with a journey up to Table Mountain. The above picture is of Terri and George in the cablecar ascending Table Mountain

We stopped in at the Backsberg winefarm where we had a great winetasting and I also taught George how to do sabrage

We moved on to Kayamandi and joined the Masakhane dance group while they were practicing at the Ikamva Lethu centre

We stopped in to visit Lily and her family

Our last stop in Kayamandi was a rousing farewell to the Naders by the Bana Bagotso choir at the Ikamva lethu Centre

After our journey to Kayamandi we returned home to Cape Town

This was a great day with two very interesting people. We learnt a lot form one another and I do believe that George and Terri walked away from the day ready to face their journey through South Africa with a much better understanding of who we as South Africans are all about. All in all the day represented a really good experience for me and I can but only hope for George and Teri too.
