I met Tom and Jane at An African Villa. After becoming acquainted we set off on a cultural journey in the Cape Winelands
At the Afrikaans language monument
On our way to Kayamandi we stopped in at the Pork Belly Deli where we got to know more about local South African foods as well as enjoyed chicken and mushroom pies for lunch.
On arrival in Kayamandi we visited the Thuliswa creche where we met Mama Madiba before we moved onto Lily's home.
With Lily in her Kayamandi home

After our visit to Kayamandi we returned to Cape Town where I dropped the Quigley's off at Millers thumb after we bade each other farewell.
I had such a wonderful time with the Quigley's, so much so that I forgot to take some pictures of our journey at places like the Pork Belly Deli as well as at Mama Madiba.. No matter what Tom and Jane were wonderful visitors to travel with and overall I believe we had a great one day journey together. The Quigley's were a very go with the flow type couple and enjoyed all that they did because of their willingness to want to learn as much as possible of South Africa while visiting our country. In summary for me this was a great day with a wonderful couple.
THANKS FOR SUCH A
