An International Rope Skipping competition was being held in Cape Town and I had the honour of taking part of the Belgian team around the winelands and to the township of Kayamandi. From the minute I met this group I just knew our journey together was going to be a wow event as so it was.
Our first stop was at the Afrikaans language monument near to Paarl

We travelled to Stellenbosch and did a short tour of the town. We had a great lunch at Cognito restaurant before moving on to Kayamandi.

I dont know how to describe this tour other than by saying wow! wow! wow! It was an unbelievable experience to have these wonderful Belgians with us. They taught us so much whilst I think we taught them quite a lot too. This was a true and wonderful cultural exchange which is going to be very difficult to forget in that we all has such a marvellous time together. A fabulous experience for all.
