I met Chuck and Carol at An African Villa and as the weather was absolutely perfect we immediately set off to ascend Table Mountain.

Day 2

Winelands and Kayamandi

We started our day with a drive out to the Afrikaans language monument. Unfortunately it was raining and the weather was not conducive to pictures.

We drove t Stellenbosch and did a short tour of the town whereafter we stopped for a sandwich at the Sandwich Baron and then moved onto Kayamandi.

Enjoying Lily's story of her life in her Kayamandi home.

We drove back to Cape Town and as they enjoyed the previous evening's meal so much I dropped Chuck and Carol off at Millers Thumb where they went for dinner just before we bade each other farewell

What a wonderful couple Chuck and Carol were to travel with. We shared lots together and had many long conversations about what we were seeing around us. The Shears simply took all in their stride and enjoyed our time together immensely. Our total tour experience was a fabulous one as we had so much to talk about and so much in common that for me two days together were not only fabulous touring experiences but also presented me with a great opportunity to become acquainted with a truly fabulous couple.

Dear Selwyn,

Thank you so much for a great two days touring Cape Town. We enjoyed
everything from Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula to Stellenbosch
and Kayamandi. It was a great pleasure to meet and spend time with
you learning about Cape Town and South Africa. You made Cape Town a
very memorable experience for us and we are sure to return.

Best Wishes,

Carol & Chuck Shear
