I met Richard and Maggie at the Arabella Sheraton on the Saturday afternoon after their arrival and we set out on a tour of the city centre. We visited Bo-Kaap, Signal Hill, had a wonderful high tea at the Mount Nelson Hotel and enjoyed the balance of the afternoon looking at all the interesting places in the Cape Town city centre.

I the evening Richard and Maggie had an enjoyable evening at the Africa Cafe.

I fetched Maggie and Richard at their hotel and as the weather was conducive we immediately drove up to Table Mountain and did the ascent of the mountain by cable car

All in all this was a wonderful one and a half days of touring with Maggie and Richard. As a couple they were very easy to travel with and together we enjoyed the splendours of the Cape Town immensely. All in all Richard and Maggie were a true pleasure to travel with and our journey together certainly was a memorable one for me and I can but only hope for them too.

Thanks a ton Richard & Maggie

Selwyn,

Many thanks for showing us your city, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Your insight and anecdotes of Cape Town and its surrounds certainly made the touring something special and we couldn't have asked for more on our whirlwind visit (apart from maybe slightly better weather, but you can't have everything). We heartily enjoyed your foodie recommendations and your final recommendation of the Savoy Cabbage was really excellent. I hoped we eased you gently back into touring after your break and you have an enjoyable rest of the year. I'm sure we'll be back, but with kids in tow, in the future and look forward to some kid friendly suggestions from you when that happens.

All the best,

Richard and Maggie
