I met Greg and Irina at Kensington House and after driving up to KloofNek we looked at the weather and decided to ascend Table Mountain before going on a Cape peninsula tour.

WINELANDS AND KAYAMANDI
We started our day by visiting the Pan African Market on Long Street to look for curios.
We left Cape Town and travelled to Franschhoek and did a car tour of the village. On our way to Franschhoek we stopped in at the Potbelly Pantry where I showed Irina and Greg all the different types of local foods that Capetonians ate.

We stopped in at the L'Ormarins estate so as to enjoy the vintage car collection on the farm.

We visited the Ikamva Lethu Centre where as can be seen from the below pictures Irina and Greg had a great time dancing with the dancers at the centre.

After our visit to Kayamandi we visited De VolksKombuis where we enjoyed a traditional Afrikaner type meal before returning to Cape Town.
Travelling with the Sprishens was an experience second to none. Not only were they a great couple to travel with they were most certainly one of the most intelligent couples I have ever travelled with. Much was shared at all times while on tour and the conversation in the car never stopped as it was always so interesting. What a great tour this was for me and I can but only hope that Greg and Irina felt likewise
THANK YOU FOR ALL
GREG AND IRINA
May I also add a VERY BIG THANK YOU for your wonderfully handsome donation to help the kids in Kayamandi. Much, much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your very kind words. We too truly enjoyed the time
spent touring with you, and the conversation was indeed as enjoyable and
stimulating as the sights themselves! Greg and I also looked at the
pictures you snapped, and they turned out great. Our family has already
hunted them down on the Internet, and they've all said that we looked like
we were having so much fun, and we certainly were, thanks to you.
It's heartening to know that our donation will be put to good use as well. I
will be waiting to get the shoe sizes of your talented dancers
Thank you again for spending time with us on our trip, and I hope you'll
keep in touch.
All the best.
