I met this wonderful Viking quartet (that's how they boasted to me about their identity JJ ) at their apartment in De Waterkant and we immediately set off on our journey to Stanford to have lunch at Mariana's

We visited Zone J where we met quite a number of adults and had a great time with the children in the area before handing out apples for trash

Day 3

Winelands tour

We started out our day with a winetasting tour at Muratie winefarm

After Muratie we travelled to Graaf winefarm where we tasted the great wines at this wonderful venue

Kari thinks "Thank heavens Peter is not driving"  JJ

Kari says "You dont have to overdo it because we are in South Africa you know"
Peter responds laughingly "OK lets just try one more" JJ

Enjoying mainly sparkling wines at Haute Chabriere in Franschhoek.

After our winetasting at Haute Chabriere we did a short tour of Franschhoek, After buying crafted chocolates in Franschhoek we travelled back to Stellenbosch where we did another short tour of the town. Thereafter we returned to Cape Town where we went for dinner to the Africa Cafe.

The above picture symbolised what my tour with this wonderful quartet from Norway was all about viz meeting the people, learning about them and having fun when doing so. At the same time all was done with a permanent smile and happy feelings. The above picture certainly tells this story. Travelling with this great foursome was an experience second to none. We had a great time together and saw lots and lots. I most certainly enjoyed myself thoroughly and can but only hope that everybody on tour did so too. My thanks goes to Jimmy Wallenholt who referred Peter to me as this started our negotiations to get our journey off the ground. Thanks a ton Jimmy for your constant support.
