I met Mimi and Bill at their guesthouse (Jambo) in Green Point and it did not take us long to become very well acquainted with each other.  They were both so easy to get along with from the word go an I just knew that this was going to be a great tour.

Our first stop was at Muizenberg on our way to Cape Point

We travelled on to the Kalk Bay Harbour and took this picture in the area after we had a great fish and chips lunch at Kalky's

Posing with a yellowtail saleslady in the harbour

We moved on to the penguin colony where I took this picture and yes as can be seen from Mimi's expression it was a coldish day. JJ

We travelled on to Cape Point where I took the above picture of Mimi with a friend JJ

On route back to Cape Town we enjoyed a magnificent Cape sunset

We then travelled to the Africa Cafe where I has a surprise party pre-arranged for Mimi and Bill as they were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary on the day.

Enjoying the choral singing at the Cafe.

Happy 25th

On our second day of touring we decided to do a Winelands tour however as the day was a great one weather wise we started the day with a cablecar ride up Table Mountain.

We travelled on to Franschoek and stopped in at the Old Corkscrew antiques shop

We stopped in at Hillcrest Berry farm where we had someone take the above photo of us all.

We moved on to Stellenbosch and stopped in at the Africa Silks weaving shop

We travelled on to Kayamandi where we had an amazing experience as the below pictures show

After our amazing township experience we left Stellenbosch and made our way back to Cape Town.

This was such a fabulous tour.  It  was as relaxing journey through the  Cape Winelands and Cape Town as one could hope for. The reason for this was because Mimi and Bill were very experienced travelers who took every event in their stride as it happened. We never pushed the envelope to want to see "more" and did all our touring very qualitatively. The Taragan's were wonderful people and their company was most enjoyable at all times Our parting ways was very hard for me but then that's the life of a tourguide who becomes  good friends with his visitors.
