I met the Unger's and Row's at the quayside of the Cape Town harbour when they disembarked from the QE2. It was great to see Jim and Beth once again and we rehashed quite a number of experiences that we had on our previous tour before we set off on a Cape Peninsula tour.

We stopped at Muizenberg where we took this picture of Eileen, David, Beth and Jim

Buying biltong at Gogo's in Simonstown

Enjoying the penguin colony at Boulders beach

The foursome at the Cape of Good Hope on the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve

Collecting stones for memories at the most south western point of Africa

Beth and David enjoying the fantastic views from the top of Chapmans Peak

Enjoying champagne on top of Signal Hill

The Unger's and Row's were great to travel with. It was especially great for me to tour this group as it gave me an opportunity to see Beth and Jim once again. Together we had great fun as we visited the Cape Peninsula with the only problem being that it would have been wonderful to have spent another day with this friendly foursome. Overall this was truly a very enjoyable tour.

Hi Selwyn!

We, too, had a fantastic day with you and the Rows. Today is glorious and we've already left a few more Rand with the shops at the Waterfront. The best buys are at the Internet Cafes! I will be sending you the article from the New Yorker which discusses the AIDS situation from that reporter's point of view. We look forward to returning to South Africa in the not too distant future so that we not only can continue the friendship but see more of the country's beauty.

Many, many thanks again.

Cheers and love from Beth and Jim

Hello Selwyn,

Just to thank you so much for our super tour in Capetown, a perfect day and a great finale to our trip on QE2. We did enjoy your company, expertise and great enthusiasm for your home town. We are grateful to Beth and Jim for introducing us, and would like to think we could visit again in the future for you to show us more of the beautiful country.

We are now back in Perth and experiencing exactly the same weather we had in Capetown!

Sincere thanks

David and Eileen Row
