I met Ken and Judy at the V&A Waterfront hotel and after discussing what they had already seen in Cape Town we worked around this and went on a city tour plus a visit to Kayamandi.

The Weavers were lovely people to travel with. They were down to earth type folk who enjoyed all around them as we travelled through the Winelands and Kayamandi. We had a great journey together and I enjoyed the whole event just as much as I suspect that Judith and Ken did.

Yes, we were grateful for the time with you and the time in Kayamandi. We
will be internalizing our South African experience for quite a long time. I am
still mulling over some things about Kayamandi, so you'll likely hear from
me again. In the meantime, when you have time, I'd like the name of the lady
who runs the creche and so kindly let us come into her home. And then, I'd
like your snail mail address so I can sent a note to her and to Lily for their
kind hospitality. And do be sure to let us know if you or anyone you know
well will come to the U.S. so we can reciprocate kindness.
