The mere fact that I have placed in excess of 150 photographs and videos on this webpage is testimony to the fact that this was an exceptional and wonderful tour. Paul, Marina, Pat and Terry were such a fun group to tour with. The humour never stopped in the car and all in all everybody had great fun purely becaue they were all such great sports. This really was a wonderful fun tour with fabulous people who wanted to enjoy as much as possible of the Western Cape and you believe me they achieved their goal admirably.

Received 19-1-2005

This mail has been shortened with sectors cut out that are of a personal nature
relative to the foursome where I feel that there our privacy has to be respected

Dear Selwyn,

Well, the weary travellers are finally back in the UK, tired, broke & very
fat! And whose fault is that I wonder?!!! Thank you so much for your
lovely e-mail, and the wonderful sentiments contained therein. We too felt
it was a privilege to be with you and will always look upon you as a VERY
special friend - certainly not your average run-of -the mill tour guide, and
we are so glad that you enjoyed your time with us. We had so much fun it
was unbelievable, and it is something that none of us will ever forget. To
leave you at the airport was heart-wrenching, Pat & I sobbed so much, I
think the airport staff wondered what was wrong, and even the boys didn't
have a dry eye between them - something which doesn't normally happen I can
tell you. Your country is indeed wonderful, and I can see why you are
justifiably proud of it. The scenery is outstanding, the weather glorious,
and the people very friendly & polite. We were treated with the greatest
respect wherever we went and all in all it was a trip we will NEVER forget.
Such wonderful memories, that we can share with family & friends for a long
time to come! I have even talked to one of my dance teachers today who
tells me her husband is not that keen on South Africa, but she is, so I told
her to log on to the website & have a look at our pictures & maybe she can
persuade him to take a trip. I told her in no uncertain terms that the ONLY

Pat & Terry would want to join us in thanking you for the honour of your
company during our stay in SA, as without you the experience would not have
been as rewarding, and I know we all learned so much about the country & its
people. You are indeed a wonderful man and we love you very much for
sharing your knowledge & experience of the country with us. Perhaps you &
Bette could take a trip to Cornwall at some point? We would love to have
you stay & show you around here as we are also very proud of our wonderful

Well that's all our news for now, but please do keep in touch - we will
follow your tours with interest and would always be glad to get an e-mail
from you.

God bless & you too go well & great peace until we meet again for the Cork
Club tour in 2011

Lots of love from rainy Cornwall UK
