I met Michael and Victor at the Park Inn and after becoming acquainted we set off on a winelands/township tour.

We first travelled into Bo-Kaap where I took this picture of Michael and Victor with Cape Town and Table Mountain in the background

We travelled onto Paarl and then to the Afrikaans Language monument where I took the above picture of Victor and Michael

After visiting Nosandile we stopped in at Zone J where we handed out apples during the Trash for fruit campaign and also stopped in at the St. Pauls Church where we enjoyed a church service that was taking place. Thereafter we returned to Cape Town.,

All in all this was great day with wonderful visitors. Both Michael and Victor learnt a lot during our journey and I could sense this from the questions that they asked me all about South Africa. We had great fun going through these procedures and I believe that our time together was very fruitfully spent resulting in a wonderful tour.

Thank you so much for all Victor and Michael.

Selwyn,

Victor and I are safely back home in San Jose now. I want to thank you for a most wonderful, educational, and memorable experience! It was surely the highlight of our trip for both of us. If there are many more like you, then South Africa is in very good hands indeed.

You took some great pictures of us!  As you predicted, the weather report for Wednesday was accurate, and we took some great pictures from the top of Table Mountain! We also went to Zoerina's and mentioned to Monica that you sent us there. She served us some wonderful curry dishes and samoosas! We went back the next day for more.

Thanks again for a wonderful tour, and I hope that Victor and I have the opportunity to see the progress of South Africa again in the future!

All the best,

Michael B. Williams
