I met Richard and Debbie at their Stellenbosch apartment at 08h00 on Saturday morning. Richard had been on a computer education conference for the past week hence my having to pick the Wynd's up in Stellenbosch. After becoming acquainted we started out on our Garden Route tour. We traveled via the N2 to Mossel Bay along the way.
We stopped for lunch at Mattsens restaurant in Swellendam. Here we see the Wynd's enjoying their first Don Pedros while on tour

We stopped at the Aloe factory in Albertinia where Hilda told us all about the aloe products that the factory produces

We arrived at Cape Vaccas at 16h00. At
19h00 we had a wonderful dinner prepared before us by Katriena

We stopped in at the beachfront of the Wilderness as well as at Botha and Botha furniture factory. After these two experiences we made our way to Overmeer Guesthouse in Knysna

Day 4

Knysna
We started our day with a visit to Scarab
where paper is made from elephant dung.

We travelled on to the Belvedere Estate
where we stopped in at Lionel and Renay Booth for tea.

Travel to Port Elizabeth

Addo and Schotia
We visited the Addo Elephant Park as well a Schotia Game Farm on this day. With us being inside vehicles all the time while we were game viewing the taking of pictures was rather difficult. No matter what I did manage to capture the following photos on the day

On the day we saw elephant, warthog, red hartebeest and kudu on Addo while we saw wildebeest (blue and black) zebra, red hartebeest, kudu, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, eland, gemsbok (oryx), springbok, blesbok, impala, spring hare and of course magnificent lions on Schotia

Drive to Oudtshoorn
We started off our morning with breakfast at Lemon Tree Lane
After breakfast we left Port Elizabeth and travelled via Jeffreys Bay, Kareedouw, Joubertina and the R62 to Oudtshoorn. This represented a 4 hour drive. On arrival in Oudtshoorn we went for lunch to De Fijne Kuiken.
